Improving Living Conditions and Sanitation for a Vulnerable Family – September 2024

This family has been living in extremely difficult conditions following the death of the husband several years ago. The mother, who suffers from epilepsy and experiences regular seizures, works as a domestic maid to support her children.

For the past five years, the family had no toilet facilities of their own and were forced to rely on neighbours for basic sanitation. The house they were living in was severely deteriorated and unsafe.

We were able to construct a new toilet for the family and carry out essential house refurbishment, significantly improving their living conditions, dignity, and safety. These changes have provided the family with basic sanitation, improved hygiene, and a more secure home environment, restoring a sense of stability and hope for the future.
