Humanitarian Support for Ukraine War Refugees, Poland - 2022
In March 2022, in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the Russia–Ukraine war, we provided support to refugees who had fled the conflict and sought shelter in Poland.
As part of this initiative, we distributed free school bags, stationery, and learning materials to children affected by the war, helping them continue their education during a time of displacement and uncertainty. Supporting children’s wellbeing and access to education was a key priority of our response.
In addition, we provided financial support to a dog and cat shelter run by a Polish charity, recognising the vital role such organisations played in caring for animals abandoned or displaced due to the conflict.
This initiative reflects our commitment to humanitarian aid, compassion, and solidarity with communities impacted by war, extending support to both people and animals affected by the crisis.
